Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Rocket League Stats
Site
Rocket League Stats is an independent project focused on delivering deeper replay analyses for Rocket League. While other tools offer basic statistics, our goal is to go beyond: 3D movement is analyzed frame-by-frame to extract positioning, rotation, and behavioral data that you won't find anywhere else.
Yes. The free plan gives access to the main replay analysis features, with storage and usage limits. Plans with expanded limits are planned for the future.
Just create a free account, go to the Replays page, and upload your
.replay files. Analysis starts automatically and you'll be notified when it's complete.
Account
Click "Sign Up" in the top-right corner of the page. You can register with your email or sign in with Google. After registration, you'll have immediate access to analysis features.
Yes, at any time in Settings → Account, scrolling to the bottom of the page. Once you confirm deletion, your personal data will be erased or anonymized within 30 days, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
Replays
Go to the Replays page and click the upload area, or drag your
.replay files directly onto it. Files are typically located in Documents/My Games/Rocket League/TAGame/Demos/. We support files up to 3MB each.
Most replays are processed within 30–60 seconds. Matches with overtime may take slightly longer. You'll receive a notification when the analysis is ready.
Yes. Every replay sent to the platform becomes publicly accessible by default, including statistics from all players in the match. Keep this in mind before uploading.
Replays are stored while they are needed for analysis and display on the platform. You can request deletion of specific replays at any time, and replay data tied to your account is handled according to the account deletion rules.
Yes. Each analyzed replay has an exclusive link available on the detail page. Since replays are public by default, anyone with the link can view it without needing an account.
Analysis
We offer a comprehensive set of metrics: goals, assists, saves, shots, boost usage, positioning heatmaps, speed, aerial stats, possession time, and rotation analysis. Some positioning and rotation data is exclusive to Rocket League Stats and not available elsewhere.
We use the rrrocket parser to convert the
.replay file into structured data. From there, deterministic algorithms analyze the recorded 3D movement frame-by-frame: events are identified when specific conditions are met, and other data is calculated as behavioral averages throughout the match. There are no subjective estimates — everything is extracted directly from the file data.
It depends on how the replay was saved. When recorded with Bakkes Mod, MMR is registered in the file and displayed directly. When saved by the default game, this information is not available — in these cases, we display an estimate based on metrics that tend to vary with rank, such as boost usage, time on ground, and average speed. Estimates are always identified as such.
Yes, and we prefer to be transparent about it. Some data is simply not present in
.replay files — information the game itself doesn't record. The site is in active development and new metrics are added regularly. If you're missing specific data, get in touch.
Technical
We support replays from all platforms: PC (Steam and Epic Games), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. As long as you can export the
.replay file, we can analyze it. Console players may need to transfer files via USB or cloud storage.
Yes. Data is transmitted via HTTPS, passwords are stored in hashed form, and access to personal data is restricted. We do not sell your personal data. Keep in mind that uploaded replays are public by default — see the Replays section for more details.
Because access to Rocket League's public API is restricted to older sites and developers who were approved and received a key in the past. Live stats, MMR, and player history are not broadly available today, so replays remain the most reliable source we can use independently.
Not in a general way. The official API access is limited, so Rocket League Stats cannot use it for live MMR or full match history. Our analysis is based on the replay files that players upload to the site.
